I became an activist, finally!
Are you ready for an entirely new conversation? One we’ve never had? At least, not in this way?
Over the last few months, I completed maternity leave (can you believe Autumn is almost five months old?), invited new women into Mentor Masterclass, traveled with my family to lead a retreat in Sonoma, California, and became an activist in my local community.
I’m so excited a new season of my podcast, Walk With Me is about to begin next Wednesday, March 11! I start recording new and fresh episodes this week!
This new season is full of mastery-level coaching techniques, intimate spiritual conversations, and in-the-moment live updates.
I’ll also take you behind the scenes of my new experiences through activism, emergent leadership — all on a weekly podcast where we walk together.
I created Walk With Me in devotion to creating time and financial freedom in your life, through your unique calling. Which, for many of you, is within the rapidly growing wellness industry.
All my life I’ve steered clear of politics. I didn’t think my voice REALLY mattered. I believed the patriarchal systems didn’t listen to what I had to say anyway, so why get involved? I found the whole thing depressing!
And I judged people committed to activism as angry and noninclusive. I felt there was no room for nuanced conversations because activists approached multifaceted issues as cut and dry.
I had a lot of fear about speaking up and telling my truth.
Plus, when I allow myself to focus on things that matter to me, I can’t do anything less than put my entire heart, leadership, and action into it. I’m an all-or-nothing kind of woman. And so I believed getting involved with people, laws, challenges, and the unjust that mattered to me would ultimately kill me.
I believed I didn’t have the time to get involved if I want to be a great mom, an intimate lover, and a badass CEO.
Well, all my beliefs have changed. Rather rapidly. I’ve learned A LOT in the last few months.
The self-care and feminine leadership skills I’ve had to embody in order to teach them has expanded my capacity. I’m heavily involved right now in fighting for body autonomy and medical freedom in the state of Connecticut.
(If you live in Connecticut and would like to see what I’m up to and get involved, you can check it out right here.)
You can expect to meet a different Jeannine in this season of the podcast.
Last year we talked a lot about slowing down and making space for a different pace and an innovative approach to my life and business in 2020.
Well ladies, I’m BACK and it’s all integrating fast! I can’t wait to catch up with you and lean into emergence.
EMERGENT LEADERSHIP. Let’s talk about what that means for all of us this year…
On this season of the podcast I’ll be diving into very personal topics including: How was my labor? What happened to Autumn after she was born? How has life been since slowing down? What direction will my business take in 2020?
I’ll also talk about defying my fear of speaking up on controversial topics, settling into life as a mother of two, up-leveling my business, and finding balance along the way. I recently took my family with me as I led a retreat, which of course unlocked powerful lessons I can’t wait to share with you…
You’ll be hearing more about my behind-the-scenes life of balancing conscious parenting, family life and running a coaching business when the podcast launches next week.
