6 Action Steps to Stop Fighting & Start Flying

We are so excited to bring you this week’s episode of Invite To Your Life TV because we are so passionate about this 6 step process. So, let’s jump right in!
Step 1: Identify the Routine.
It’s starts with pen and paper. And we want you to do it the right way. Get a Journal! Take yourself on a shopping date and find a gorgeous journal that just calls out your name for this experience. You know how much we love big, beautiful, inspirational journals, right? They make us SING here at RSVP. Shay recently found this one and she can’t put it down.
Journaling is going to help you identify your routine. Write down everything that happened to you during your day. Big or Small. Whether it seems significant or not isn’t important here. We just want to gather up all the information we can and see where we can find some patterns. This is where you get to play detective! So stay open and glean as much as you can.
Step 2: Identify your Cues.
What does that mean? Pinpoint what happened BEFORE you slipped into a habitual or unconscious habit that you know is holding you back and needs to be addressed. We’re talking about what lead you to the cookie jar, the boob tube, the credit card or maybe even verbal self-abuse.
Step: 3: Pick ONE thing you gotta to change.
Once you’ve taken a look at your daily routine, and revealed the cues, chose one thing to focus on that needs attention right now.
Step 4: Make the decision!
This is so important. It takes real commitment and a strong belief to make it happen. We like to put it in the NOW and start with an “I AM” statement to initiate the believe that we CAN reach our goal.
I AM CHANGING.
I AM SUCCESSFUL. I AM SUPER-FIT. I AM BEAUTIFUL. I AM LOVABLE.
I AM A SUPAH-STAHR!
Step 6: Make a plan. Build in a rewards system.
Time to take action! But don’t make the mistake of just getting in the car and driving. Build yourself a road map with check points along the way. And don’t forget to celebrate when you’ve had a breakthrough or reached a milestone. It will help you re-fuel and stay on the path.
